Ali Zelenko and Kimberly Mingo join Elizabeth Dole Foundation Board of Directors

Washington, DC (June 15, 2022)— The Elizabeth Dole Foundation announced the election of two new members to its Board of Directors, Ali Zelenko, senior vice president of strategic initiatives for NBC News and head of strategic partnerships for NBC News Studios, and Kimberly Mingo, vice president of government business and strategy for Philips.

A proud daughter of a U.S. Army Captain and bronze star medal recipient, Zelenko has been integral to coordinating the Foundation’s ongoing partnership with NBC News’ TODAY, which has brought the issue of military caregiving into the homes of millions of Americans through live broadcasts, interviews, and moving profiles pieces. She has a distinguished track record serving in senior communication roles for some of the nation’s largest and most respected news media outlets, including NBC News, TIME, FORTUNE, Money, CNN, and PEOPLE. Zelenko currently creates and leads efforts to enhance NBC News brands and reach new audiences. She also oversees strategic partnerships for NBC News Studios.

Mingo recently addressed the Foundation’s National Convening on Veteran Caregivers, co-hosted by the VA and sponsored by Philips. She is the proud daughter of a U.S. Army Veteran and the niece of a U.S. Air Force Colonel both who inspired her to focus her career on the government sector. She has led an accomplished career providing healthcare solutions to private sector hospitals, federal and state governments, including the Department of Defense Military Health Systems and the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). In her current role, she oversees Philips’ strategies for supporting the growing healthcare needs of its government partners, including the VA and Department of Defense. Philips has been a long-term supporter and driver of the Foundation’s work. Previously, Mingo held leadership positions at GE Healthcare and Hillrom.
