Multi-Platinum Trio Lady A joins the lineup for star-studded online event honoring military caregivers with Tom Hanks, Savannah Guthrie hosting

Washington, DC (October 21, 2021)— The Elizabeth Dole Foundation announced today the addition of multi-platinum trio Lady A as the musical headline act for its upcoming Heroes and History Makers event, which will be presented virtually on October 28 at 8 p.m. ET. The event is the Foundation’s annual tribute to America’s 5.5 million military caregivers, the loved ones who voluntarily care for wounded, ill, and injured service members and veterans at home. The announcement of Lady A’s performance follows the announcement of a star-studded lineup set to be co-hosted by actor and Hidden Heroes Campaign Chair Tom Hanks and TODAY co-anchor and Hidden Heroes Ambassador Savannah Guthrie. The Foundation will recognize actor, humanitarian, and founder of the Gary Sinise Foundation, Gary Sinise with its 2021 Tom Hanks Caregiver Champion Award. In addition, Lee Greenwood will receive the Foundation’s Caregiver Ally Award. Bryan Cranston, Ben and Erin Napier, Gerald McRaney, Jocko Sims, Aisha Tyler, and Tamron Hall will make appearances to tell the powerful and inspiring stories of military caregivers and enlist the public’s support for these heroes.
