WASHINGTON, DC (March 5, 2024) - Former United States Senator Elizabeth Dole (NC) will make remarks at a Joint House and Senate Veteran Services Organization Hearing on March 6 at 10 a.m. The hearing is entitled "Legislative Presentation of Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States & Multi VSOs: PVA, WWP, NASDVA, MRC, BSF, IAVA, BVA, SWAN, SVA, AMVETS."Senator Dole will be speaking to the Elizabeth Dole Foundation-backed version of the Elizabeth Dole Home Care Act which is now part of the VA Omnibus package currently being negotiated between the U.S. House and Senate.In 2012, Senator Dole established the first national nonprofit dedicated to supporting the more than 5.5 million Americans caring for a wounded service member or veteran at home.
