Angie Cherikos

Angie Cherikos serves as the Operations Coordinator, supporting the efficiency and organization of our team. She joined us in late September 2024, bringing a deep personal connection to the military community as part of a Marine family.

From 2023 to 2024, Angie participated in the Blue Star Families DEPLOY Fellowship program, where she led the Spaces for Belonging initiative, designed to foster community for LGBTQ+ military children. Prior to transitioning to the military support field, Angie worked as a certified dog trainer and adoptions counselor at Washington, DC’s animal shelter.

A 2021 graduate of the University of Mary Washington with a degree in Psychology, Angie also competed as a track athlete. She currently lives in Arlington, VA, with her dog, and spends her free time running, reading, and exploring new restaurants with friends. Angie is thrilled to be part of an organization that supports military families like her own.
