Babs Chase has dedicated her career to forging connections that positively impact the world around her, driven by her passion for uniting changemakers to make a difference.  As the Senior Vice President, Strategic Initiatives for the Elizabeth Dole Foundation, she is responsible for developing key initiatives and managing aligned strategic alliances to support the foundation's mission and goals.

Babs leads the Foundation’s management of the coalition for Face the Fight, an initiative founded by USAA, Reach Resilience and the Humana Foundation, working to break the stigma surrounding suicide in the military community by raising awareness and fostering real, open conversations around support and hope. The Face the Fight Coalition is a growing cohort of 175+ corporations, foundations, nonprofits, and government liaisons who have come together to address one of the most crucial issues facing our military veteran community today.

Babs also leads EDF’s management of the Campaign for Inclusive Care, a strategic joint initiative of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and Elizabeth Dole Foundation (EDF), generously supported by USAA, to embrace, engage, and empower caregivers, clinicians, and Veterans throughout the entire care journey from day one.

Overall, Babs is instrumental in driving the foundation's growth and impact through effective leadership and execution of strategic initiatives and successfully collaborating with key alliance partners to reach their goals.

Before joining EDF, Babs led outreach programs in a myriad of industries including government, economic development, politics, public diplomacy and corporate America. She is 2021 alumni of the George W. Bush Institute’s Veteran Leadership Program.

A graduate of Baylor University, Babs is a proud native of Memphis, Tennessee.  She and her husband, Andrew Mickley, USN-Ret., reside in Alexandria, Virginia with their Cavalier King Charles, Elvis.
