Juanita Graham, currently serving as the Corporate and Foundation Grants Manager at the Elizabeth Dole Foundation, has a diverse and extensive career. Her journey began with the United States Army and Reserves, where she was honored with the esteemed Army Achievement Medal in 1999. Over the past 20 years, Juanita has held a variety of roles, each with increasing responsibilities. These roles include nursing, clinical social work, grant writing, Regional Director, Director of programs, grants and data management, and operations.  

As the Regional Director at Providence Service Corporation's Family Based Strategies in Greensboro, NC, Juanita successfully negotiated service contracts with county governments in 2009. She broadened service provision across the triad region to ensure equitable access to quality mental health care and support for low-income families. In 2021, Juanita advanced to the Director of Holistic Care Programs at the Washington Health Institute, where she secured and managed government grants and launched the organization's first integrated behavioral health program.  Juanita used data, analysis, research, and policy solutions to demonstrate improved health outcomes for minority populations in the DC metropolitan area.

Juanita holds a Master of Social Work from the University of South Carolina, a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, and a Practical Nurse Diploma from the United States Army in Fort Gordon, Georgia.
