Stephen Saunders

Stephen Saunders brings extensive experience as CDO after successfully leading fundraising teams and campaigns for nearly twenty years in a variety of organizations, from arts & culture to direct service to think tanks including the Trust for the National Mall, United Way, and Year Up serving in Director and  Vice President roles launching and leading capital campaigns and efforts with major donors, boards of directors, and corporate and foundation partners.  

Stephen operates with a heavy focus on relationship building with individual, corporate, and foundation funders and is passionate and enthusiastic about philanthropy work because of the joy of giving experienced by philanthropists – that spark when they know their gift is advancing their passions.  

Stephen is a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) whois constantly amazed by the dedication and sacrifice that military and veteran caregivers show every day to their loved ones.
